Nan has been in the real estate/mortgage field since 1983. She began her career in downtown Austin working for the mortgage department within Franklin Savings. While there, she was selected as one of a handful of employees to assist in the start-up of a mortgage company for a large homebuilder in Tucson, Arizona. She remained at Franklin until the late 1980’s when she received a job offer back in Austin to run feasibility studies for a company that was purchasing numerous properties from the RTC (Resolution Trust Corporation).
In the early 1990’s, Nan was an on-site sales consultant for a local builder and then worked as a realtor for the Heagerty Company. She was then hired away by the largest homebuilder in Austin. In 2000, she made the decision to go back into the lending field.
She and her business partner, Laura Llorens, co-own Abundance Home Mortgage, LLC. The name, Abundance Home Mortgage, was chosen for the meaning of “Abundance,” which means an extremely plentiful or over-sufficient quantity or supply. They wish "abundance" for all of their clients, referral partners, friends and family in whatever they desire or pursue. It is an affirmation that good things will always be provided.
Their mission statement is to provide their clients with First Class Service and to retain them as lifelong clients. They stand by their promise to provide their clients and referral partners with a smooth, easy and stress-free transaction and closing, along with the best interest rates and terms that can be found at the time.
Customer service is the cornerstone of Nan’s business. She attends closings and personally meets with almost every client. It is important to her to understand what the client wants and what their future needs may be. This allows her to provide the best, tailor-made loan for her clients.
