It doesn’t take home buyers long to realize that Amiee is a caring person who values their time, works within their schedules and patiently guides them through the mortgage process. Along the way to home ownership, she even sprinkles in a little fun to ease the stress that may arise.
At age 19, when many of us were wondering what to do with our lives, Amiee Carr was earning her real estate license. Eight years later she transitioned into mortgage and has been guiding home buyers along the path to home ownership ever since. Amiee, who has experience in all phases of real estate and mortgage, helps families residing in Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland. She says, “I pride myself as a trusted resource for both borrowers and real estate agents. I’m committed to helping my clients, as well as the industry professionals I work with, through the entire lending process from planning and loan application to closing and beyond. My main goal is to create lasting relationships by educating and making the mortgage process as stress-free as possible with good communication backed by a great selection of loan programs.”
Communication and building trust are very important to Amiee. She wants her clients to feel comfortable asking questions so they fully understand what they are doing and what to expect both during and after the transaction. She says, “I truly care about their well being and am always available to them. I make it a point to call my clients, the listing agent and the selling agent each week.”
Amiee lives by the philosophy: Be the reason someone smiles today. She says, “That is my goal. At least once a day, I hope I am the reason someone’s situation is better just because I helped, whether it be by educating them or calling them and saying, hey, you are approved or you did everything I told you to do and you have gotten there.”
Community outreach and giving back to the community is also a big part of her life. She is actively involved in Roc Solid Foundation as well as Salvation Army’s Women’s Auxiliary. Amiee says, “While not everyone has the money to give back, we can all spare a little bit of time. Sometimes, I feel that is more valuable in giving back to those in need. It’s a huge part of how I operate my business. I always want to make sure I am doing the most good for others.”
