Jackson Thomas
Jackson's family has been in the real estate and mortgage industry for over 30 years and he is passionate about investing in people and the American dream of home ownership. He has had a NMLS Loan Officer license for 10 years and spends his time serving and communicating with customers and referral partners. He specializing in helping people find the perfect loan product and loan program to fit their needs. He maintains one of the highest customer satisfaction rankings in the industry and has never missed a close date due to lender-related reasons.
Jackson is a Dallas, Texas native and graduated from Highland Park High School and Baylor University. His career started in direct sales with Cutco as he worked to pay his way through school. He achieved a top five national sales ranking twice and was listed among the top 250 salespeople in company history. Through Cutco, Jackson found a passion for creating unforgettable purchasing experiences utilizing the tenets of Blanchard & Bowles’ book, Raving Fans.
After seeing the effects of the 2008 financial crisis, Jackson decided to return to real estate industry to make a difference and joined forces with Oak Mortgage Group. During his time as a SVP of Business Development, the company grew significantly was recognized as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in 2014 and 2015 by Inc. Magazine. Oak was acquired in 2016 and Jackson now works directly with customers and referral partners at Summit Funding.
He lives in the historic Lakewood neighborhood in Dallas with his beautiful wife, Haley, and their daughters, Ella and Gia. Jackson actively serves in the community as a Board Member on the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association & the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, a Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University coach, and Treasurer of Normandy Church.
