I was born and raised in the KC Metro area, growing up in Prairie Village and being educated in the Shawnee Mission School District. I attended the University of Kansas and I have raised my family between Overland Park and Westwood Hills.
I have been in the mortgage industry since 1998. I love the mortgage field and enjoy the feeling of assisting families with the largest investment of their lives. As I tell my clients, I work realtor hours, not bankers' hours. I work for a full service bank, which offers all standard loan programs and products (Conventional, FHA, VA, ETC.) as well as some fantastic portfolio products. We have in-house (local) Origination, Processing, Underwriting, and Closing departments. The benefit of having these departments locally is that I can physically walk down the hall to talk with people face to face opposed to waiting for an email or a returned phone call.
We are a service based industry, our customers come first. The industry is changing so much into a digital age that personal service is starting to be lost. This is the biggest purchase or transaction of person's life, we keep that in mind and make sure that we are available for questions and answers when customers are asking.
