Benjamin P. Eklund, Real Estate Broker:
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Ben attended the University of Washington. At age 22, he began managing political campaigns and was hired as a consultant by political candidates. After four campaigns, Ben decided to pursue a career in real estate.
Ben Eklund has been a licensed Real Estate Professional since 2004. He strives to show his strong work ethic, commitment, integrity, knowledge, good communication and other important characteristics through his actions when working with his clients. Over the past decade (plus), Ben has accomplished a considerable amount within the real estate industry. The ability to be successful today has much to do with the opportunities and experiences from the past.
Slightly after obtaining his real estate license, Ben began to represent two new construction builders in the Lake Tapps area. These builders sold homes in the $400k-$1M price range. In just over three years Ben represented over 30 “sides” in overall transactions in one development alone. Since becoming licensed, Ben has worked with more than 10 different builders/developers/investors that primarily build new homes.
Over his career, Ben has also gained experience working with: Investment properties, first-time home buyers, vacant land, estate sales, 1031 exchanges, a “Street of Dreams” home/builder, waterfront properties, commercial, multi-family, condominiums, resale homes, manufactured homes, short sales and residential/commercial leases.
From 2008-2013, Ben also worked directly with several banks providing Comparative Market Analysis (CMAs), Broker Pricing Opinions (BPOs) and listing/selling the bank’s REO properties. In this timeframe, Ben sold nearly 100 REO properties, in addition to the other clients he was servicing.
Ben has represented his clients in a vast range of different areas including: King, Pierce, Snohomish, Thurston, Kitsap, Mason and Lewis counties.
From the beginning of his Real Estate career, Ben has branched out into many different aspects and areas of Washington State’s real estate industry – he has never been a one dimensional real estate agent/broker. Ben constantly strives to learn from his life and working experiences to better serve his clients, to meet and exceed their expectations and accomplish their real estate goals. Being successful in this approach has been an asset to Ben’s clients and him, building long-term business relationships that are mutually beneficial.
