Born in New York and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Diana Michel relocated to Sarasota in 1981. She currently resides in Bird Key and is an active member of the Sarasota Yacht Club.
An 21-year veteran in residential real estate sales, Diana is consistently rated in the top 10% of agents in the Sarasota area. This year she was awarded the “5-star” in Customer Satisfaction as listed in Sarasota Magazine for the 16th consecutive year, one of only 7 agents in Sarasota/Manatee counties to do so. Diana owned and operated a successful marketing company for 10 years, giving her an edge in promoting her listings and selling them at the highest possible price. She is enthusiastic and driven to provide exceptional service to her clients and ensure their real estate dreams become reality. She attributes her success in the real estate market to her marketing experience, dedication, hard work, and, most importantly, listening and hearing what her clients are asking for to find the right property to be the best home for them.
A nautical enthusiast, Diana Michel has the “water gene,” as she refers to it, which she states is, “a passion for water and boating so powerful that it defines your lifestyle.” This passion has led Diana to specialize in luxury waterfront properties and master-planned family neighborhoods throughout Florida’s Gulf Coast.
In her spare time, Diana shares her passion and marketing experience with her alma mater, the University of South Florida, where she graduated with honors and served as the president of the local chapter, several terms on the National Alumni Board, and as chair of the Communications Committee—where she oversaw their award-winning website and Alumni Voice magazine. She also participates in numerous charitable organizations, including as a board member for the Univerity of South Florida Sarasota/Manatee campus.
