Professional Approach

Chris started in the industry in early 2007 and quickly established a loyal clientele who appreciated his honest, unbiased approach to financial planning.  He uses industry leading software to create holistic financial plans that model the future and help give his clients a clear path forward. Acting as a fiduciary, Chris manages risk-based models for his clients on a proactive basis. Some investments are not available through the advisory or “fee only” structure, so he is also able to work on a commission basis in order to have as many tools as possible to help his clients.

Through the course of working with clients, Chris realized that they had a very limited understanding of their company’s retirement plans. He noted that their 401(k) plans often had mediocre investment options and they were not being educated on how to take advantage of this great benefit. Seeing this huge lack of service, Chris devoted himself to becoming an expert on 401(k) and qualified retirement plans. Over his career he has become an advisor to many companies across the country. He now specializes in the design, implementation and servicing of 401(k)s.

Chris holds the Series 6, 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses and a California life insurance license. He has a BA in Economics from UC San Diego and is an active member of the UCSD Alumni Association. He also holds the AIF® designation and can be a fiduciary on 401(k) plans and trusts. Chris loves spending time with his amazing wife, son, 2 dogs and 2 cats. His other interests include reading, technology, charitable giving, hiking, backpacking, football, hockey, gardening, craft beer, guitar, and music.
