Her earlier sales and marketing-related careers at Lotus Development Corporation and Beacham Publishing, both in Washington, D.C., were the successful precursors of her passion for working with people to achieve their real estate goals.
Born in Mississippi, Deborah majored in music at the University of Southern Mississippi. She and her husband Walton moved to Casey Key in 1994 from Washington, D.C. She is a passionate advocate for children and enjoys traveling, playing her harpsichord, and taking long walks on the beach with Walton, and their adopted Standard Poodles, Jaclyne and Wilson.
Always proud to give back to the community that she cherishes so much, Deborah supports All Faiths Food Bank, Asolo Rep, Players Theater, Glasser Schoenbaum Human Services Center, Ringling College, Florida Poodle Rescue, among others. She chaired the board of Key Chorale for six years and is a past board member of La Musica. Deborah's work with the Realtors for Kids Program of The United Way of Sarasota County resulted in raising over $28,000 for the Emergency Childcare Fund.
