Karen Woolhiser’s financial career began in banking while she was still in high school. Her hard work and aptitude helped her career skyrocket quickly. Seeking more direct customer interaction, Karen became a loan originator to make an impact and help her clients achieve their homeownership dreams. Karen has built a reputation for her meticulous attention to detail and unparalleled level of customer service. She takes care of the people in her life: her family, friends, team members, clients and referral partners. After delivering a smooth closing, Karen celebrates by baking cakes, cookies and other sweet treats for her clients. During the summer of 2017 we sold our house in Boulder that we had owned for 30 years and bought a house in Longmont. Without Karen Woolhiser’s help it probably never would have happened.
For one thing, we bought the new house before selling our old one, so it required some tricky financing to accomplish. Karen was helpful and supportive. She listened to our issues, offered creative solutions we never would have thought of, patiently answered dozens of questions, and ultimately provided financing that allowed us to go through with the transaction without incurring additional income tax or interest.
Additionally, after going through the entire loan application and approval process, our first purchase fell through. That was an emotional situation, as we had become very attached to the house and it was with great reluctance that we had to back out due to issues uncovered during the inspection. Karen provided moral support and encouragement that helped us get through that.
It took us two more declined offers before we finally succeeded in getting a contract on the house we ultimately purchased. In each case Karen went out of her way to work with the seller’s agent to provide information about our credit-worthiness.
Through all of this she remained instantly accessible by phone and email, extremely responsive, and very sensitive not only to the technical details of arranging financing, but also the personal side of selling our house and buying a new one. She could have a great next career as a therapist!
