Hilarie Splichal
Whether in real estate or life in general, I love coming up with big ideas, always visualizing, and dreaming of all the possibilities around me. A true optimist and motivated by positive energy, I specialize in getting my clients to the closing table with maximum care, minimal drama, and a great – although sometimes quirky – sense of humor. I believe in not taking life too seriously and often diffuse stressful situations with my relaxed, calm, easy-going nature. Connecting with people and thoughtfully helping them move into the next chapter of their lives is what drives me. I loves what I do and have loads of fun doing it.
I bring not only nearly 2 decades of knowledge and experience as a Realtor (first in California and in Colorado since 2006), but also a lifetime of real estate – inspired by my father who has a very successful referral-based real estate business in Lawrence, Kansas where I grew up.
When I'm not helping my clients achieve the best possible outcome for their real estate needs, you will find me at a kickboxing class with my daughter, taking a hike through the Garden of the Gods, relaxing by a mountain stream, or just hanging out with my husband, our kids and our 4 year old Cavalier Spaniel/Poodle mix named Teddi.
Being a people person, I also love meeting friends for coffee or losing track of time chatting with people I know and bump into while out and about. I enjoy all types of music, can’t help doodling while taking notes, love bottle caps, KU basketball, following the Colorado Avalanche and Rockies, and reading personality-based self-help books.
After a time in San Diego, CA (still one of my favorite places) where I worked for a corporate relocation company and then started my real estate career, and where I met my husband, we moved to Littleton in 1999. I continue to build my referral-based real estate business while being a mom to my amazing – now young adult – children and am most proud that they have become smart, kind, positive and respectful people who also don’t take life too seriously. It has brought all of them great success and I look forward not only to the limitless future I see for my kids but also for myself as I continue to take my business to new levels.
