Jennifer Johnson
Jennifer was born in Mt. Pleasant Utah, a beautiful place with blue skies and big mountains. As Jennifer's family was originally from the Pacific Northwest they migrated back to Oregon to be closer to friends and family.
As a youth, Jennifer had a passion for sports. She enjoyed competing in both Gymnastics and Track and Field. Her Flag Team won the State Title the year she joined the team. They performed at all the high school football games in concert with the drill team and band. Jennifer's family relocated to Medford, Oregon the summer prior to her senior year where her father opened a restaurant. Jennifer learned a wonderful work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit working alongside her father in his restaurants as a teenager.
Jennifer started in the Real Estate industry as a Property Manager, which she did for 5 years. She and her two young daughters lived on site at one multi-family property where she was responsible for leasing to new tenants, scheduling maintenance, reporting and bookkeeping, collecting rents, maintaining beautiful grounds, and creating an atmosphere that attracted and retained new and existing tenants. During her time as a Property Manager Jennifer supervised and facilitated several large remodeling projects. Time and time again, Jennifer is able to draw on these experiences as she guides her clients through the purchase and/or sale of their homes.
In addition to real estate, Jennifer is passionate about working with children. She spent 14 years working with special needs kids in the Hillsboro School District. She quickly observed that when you first gain trust, then the learning process will be more successful.
Jennifer has earned the prestigious Five Star Realtor Award 5 times throughout her career, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017, and 2018. She is among just 5 percent of the real estate agents in the State of Oregon to receive this honor. To be considered for the Five Start Realtor designation, Agents undergo a rigorous research process in which recent home buyers and sellers are surveyed on 9 relevant criteria (Customer Service, Market Knowledge, Communication, Closing Preparation, Integrity, Marketing the Home, Negotiation, Finding the Right Home, and Overall Satisfaction) to ultimately determine overall client satisfaction. The winners of the Five Star Realtor award are featured in industry trade publications in 45 markets throughout the country. Jennifer started real estate in 2006 and has lived thru both buyer and seller markets and has valued this experience that has given her much more depth in understanding her clients needs.
When she's not serving her Real Estate Clients, Jennifer enjoys long walks on the beach enjoying the sound of waves crashing, observing wildlife, and taking photos. Yaquina Beach is Jennifer's favorite Oregon Coast destination as she loves the incredibly soothing sounds the waves make when they collide with the mostly volcanic rock. Jennifer describes this unique sound as much like a rain stick.
Jennifer also enjoys live music and concerts as well as entertaining her friends and family in her home. Nothing makes Jennifer happier than enjoying a delicious meal prepared for the ones she loves. She also enjoys quilting and seeing a finished project come together is very satisfying for her. Most recently she has been enjoying crocheting and making items for her grandchildren.
Today, Jennifer utilizes her 12+ years of real estate experience to help her clients buy and sell homes in a proactive and stress free manner. Jennifer has successfully guided close to 300 clients through the real estate processes and is passionate about supporting her clients through one of the biggest transactions they will ever undertake.
