I just wanted to take moment to highlight one of your employees. I have been in a professional business setting for the better part of 30 years and have been working with professionals who are customer facing for the majority of them. To create a successful business there needs to be a feeling of expertise, satisfaction and enjoyment with the interaction and service. I have had 3 mortgages with Penn Community Bank and the last 2 were handled by Melissa Thornton. Melissa has made the mortgage process truly enjoyable, this is something very few people can say. Her dedication to the customer is to be commended, her understanding and knowledge of the mortgage process is terrific and she makes sure to highlight what is best for her customer. Communication is at the core to any successful interaction, and Melissa made herself accessible at any time to ensure we were aware of every step along the way… day or night. We wanted to take a minute to thank you for all your help processing our refinance and HELOC loans.
We had changes in our financial circumstances when we came to you to consolidate things a few months ago. We needed help to get things on track cash-flow wise, and with that goal, you came through for us wonderfully.
Going through the process in the middle of this pandemic created challenges on top of the ones that we created for you! You were able to help us circumnavigate issues with our son’s attachment to one of our credit cards, the process overall, and even at the last minute before closing yesterday! You went way above and beyond by working with your management to come up with a way to fix a glitch in our closing cash-payment, which helped us to not delay the closing.
We thank you for being there to answer questions and help us get through the process all the way as our primary point of contact with Penn Community!
