Elizabeth had a lightbulb moment over 15 years ago when her love of helping family and friends find homes/rentals became her career.
A graduate of Randolph-Macon College (Ashland, VA), Elizabeth brings a unique set of skills to her real estate business. Although as a Broker Associate she primarily works in the sale and purchase of residential properties, she has been a lifelong equestrian and horse show judge (for 20+ years) and specializes in equine properties. Elizabeth has also been awarded the designation of Military Relocation Professional.
Her previous careers included business management, advertising/sales and journalism. And like her fellow Doorley team members, she is a native of Rhode Island, more specifically from South County, and loves to show off all of the pleasures of the state. Highly organized she manages to balance real estate, horses and her work as a United States Federation Judge.
Elizabeth considers each real estate transaction as an honor and privilege to assist clients find or sell property. First and foremost she feels that the initial job of any Realtor is to educate clients throughout the real estate process. Real estate is local and cannot be learned from gleaning information off of the internet. Secondly Elizabeth has found that in the end the commission is not the most important thing. The client has to be happy, not just on the day of the closing but months and years later. Doing due diligence, negotiating a price or home inspection issues, or even going as far as to counsel a client to walk away from a deal, she knows that in the end what is best for the client is what is best! And lastly, Elizabeth will bend over backwards to make the whole process as stress-free as possible so that by the time everyone is seated at the closing table, there are smiles all around.
Even though her business is mostly referral based, she never turns down a chance to help someone!
