Before you make one of the most important decisions of your life, shouldn’t you become as informed as possible and know something about me and how I work?
Experience: I graduated with honors from the University of Washington and attended Bastyr University for my Master’s Degree prior to becoming a realtor. I worked in commercial and private banking for 10 years. I have more than 30 “actual licensed years” of real estate experience, lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years, worked for the prestigious firm of Windermere Real Estate. A resident of Sarasota, I have been licensed in Florida since 2005. I have worked for RE/MAX Tropical Sands since 2005. I am a Broker Associate and have my Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Bank-Owned Property Specialist (REO) designations.
RE/MAX Top 100 Producer in the State of Florida: I ranked 7th Top Sales Producer among all RE/MAX agents for the entire State of Florida in March of 2007. I ranked 40th Top Sales Producer for April of 2007. And again, I ranked 60th Top Sales Producer for 1st quarter in 2014 in the entire state!
Awards: I achieved the RE/MAX HALL of FAME Award in 2013. I was also honored with the FIVE STAR Real Estate Professional Agent Award from 2007 to 2020: Best in Client Satisfaction for Real Estate Agents in Sarasota–as seen in SARASOTA MAGAZINE! Service: I served at the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee, formerly Sarasota Association Board of Realtors. I served on various committees: the Realtor Code of Ethics Committee: Grievance Committee, Professional Standards Committee, Rules and Regulations Committee, and MLS and Vendor Services Committee. I am dedicated to improving the quality of relationships between other realtor members and the general public. I have also served as Board Secretary to my own home owners association, therefore understand how associations function. Our team donates a portion of our commissions to Jill and Justin’s Place, a faith based addiction recovery program supported by the St. Matthew’s House Homeless Shelter located in Naples, Florida. We are on a mission this year to raise $5000 to go directly towards tuition to help challenged teens with alcohol and drug addiction.
Our Team: I have a wonderful team helping me to provide you with the outstanding customer service you deserve. David Warfield is our Operations Manager. He is my business partner. Cathy Winski is our Top Sales Associate who works with buyers and sellers. Janet Ashby is our dedicated RE/MAX Office Manager. Judy Kendall is our Administrative Assistant. Jack Cork is our Transaction Manager. JR Zamora is our Marketing Director. We have various other Business Partners, Computer Consultants and Independent Marketing and Design Consultants who also work directly with our team.
In the Family: My son, Michael Thomas, is the President and Owner of Cornerstone Home Inspection Group, LLC. He is an amazing home inspector and home inspection resource for me and many of my customers. He also has a real estate sign post installation division for the realtor community.
Our team lists and sells property in both Sarasota and Manatee County and various surrounding areas! We are the #1 home selling team in our office to call. As published in the local newspaper “The Observer”, I was named the top selling agent and listing agent in my office.
