Leaving the east coast, the New Jersey shore to be exact, where I and the rest of my family have spent our entire lives, and moving to the foothills of Colorado has been a more difficult transi tion than anticipated. Determining where we would plant our roots, in this new frontier, was even harder; until God introduced us to Marsha Shaffer. Originally, my wife and I intended to rent a home, for a year or two, until we learned the ‘lay of the land’; however, after discovering the realities of the exploding rental market, we realized purchasing was our best option. In the current Denver market, homes practically sell themselves. Because we were looking to purchase our first home it was quite a shock to see houses move so quickly and to feel increasing despaired after “solid” offers were rejected.
