Hi! I’m Vali Hooker, it’s good to meet you! Talking about myself is not what I do best, I prefer to listen to you, but since you need to know a little about me here it goes...
I'm a Colorado native, authentic born here and plan to stay here Native. I love Colorado and embrace it’s beauty, activities and everything it has to offer. I snowboard, skate, hike and camp every chance I get.
I grew up in Colorado Springs and moved to Denver where I attended the University of Colorado in the City for my BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems (what a mouthful!). Upon graduation I had the urge to experience another culture so I went to Mexico as an ESL teacher. It was a wonderful experience and gave me great satisfaction, helping others learn while learning myself.
I’m a second generation real estate broker. I grew up in a real estate family so I guess you can say it’s “in my blood!” Without hesitation at age 21, I got my real estate license and have been activity selling homes since then.
Oh, I’m married to a General Contractor, Travis, together we make a great team, helping our clients by selling, buying, renovating and building homes. Travis and I have three adorable boys and a big Bouvier dog named Noosa. We've lived in many urban neighborhoods over the years. Lohi, Baker, Downtown, Krisana Park - all great areas for different reasons. We are currently raising our family in Central Centennial where we love the mature trees, recreation paths and awesome neighbors.
Real estate IS in my blood and I truly enjoy this career choice. In an industry where experience really makes a difference I can say that I have a lot of it. I've helped people navigate buyer's markets, seller's markets and transitional markets. I work with first-timers, investors, empty nesters, big/small families, DINCs - you name it I'd done it! Negotiating and advocating for my people is the aspect of real estate I love best. It's hard, calculated work but I love a good challenge and I'm equipped with the training and decades of experience it requires to do it well.
I have helped many of my clients purchase and sell all their homes over the years. It's not uncommon that they start as clients but soon become friends as well. This is another perk of real estate as you help people through personal, big transactions it's hard not to end up being closer in the end. Bottomline is we are in it for the long haul and it's a pretty great little perk.
What I promise to do for you is listen to your housing needs, help you develope a plan of action and execute it within your timeframe with as few headaches as possible.
