Norm has been a resident of the Sarasota-Bradenton area since 1986 and his knowledge of the area is remarkable. Since becoming a licensed realtor in 2011, Norm has consistently been a multi-million-dollar producer, including more than $9.5 in sales in 2016.
A native of Michigan, Norm earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University and a Masters degree in Urban Planning from Michigan State University.
Prior to becoming a licensed Realtor, Norm was a Planning Manager with the Manatee County Planning Department where he worked for 23 years. He was the case manager for many of the largest developments in the area, including Lakewood Ranch, University Park Country Club, Heritage Harbour, Harrsion Ranch, and Waterlefe.
Norm has been active in many civic organizations and maintained numerous leadership roles; Chair of the Crosley Estate Foundation and President of the Whitfield Ballentine Manor Association. He coordinated successful Historic Homes Tours and Crosley Festival of Trees and has authored a number of historical and neighborhood-based articles for the Sarasota Herald Tribune, University Palm Lakewood Ledger, and Scene Magazine.
