Purchasing a home is a difficult, anxious and darn right stressful process. You deal with many characters throughout the process, some who add to that stress and some who are just out to make a buck. Sherri, Mike and Lauren were there every step of the way to ease our journey and navigate through the road blocks. They truly care about getting to know you as an individual and fitting you with a home that you desire. They are genuinely kind people who are very knowledgeable about all aspects of purchasing a home. Every time we ran into a snag or had a question about anything to do with our home purchase (and as first time home buyers we had plenty of questions), they were readily available to walk us through whatever particular detail we were not clear about. There were many times we were frantic and scared about a certain segment of the process, but after speaking to them we felt again at ease. Sherri and Mike really understand the Barrington market, know what to watch out for, etc., and were just great all around. It's great to have a team where if one happened to be unavailable at the moment (e.g., showing a house to someone else), the other would respond immediately. They kept each other informed all along, so it really didn't matter who we ended up talking to, and they both provided great service. Would highly recommend them.

I cannot praise Sherri and Mike Esenberg highly enough. When faced with the tough decision to sell my mother's house of 66 years, I was incredibly relieved as they walked me through everything. And, even more incredibly, they sold the house within a few months so that I could focus on relocating my mother rather than worrying about keeping an old house functioning through the winter and, further, worrying about how to pay for my mother's assisted living housing. My wife and I were looking to buy a home in the western Chicago suburbs and learned of Mike and Sherri Esenberg via our credit union. Honest assessments when making decisions. Mike will not tell you what you want to hear. He will tell you what you need to know to make the best decision for your property.
