Originally from Hampton, Va., Greg earned a BA from Dickinson College and an MBA from The College of William and Mary. He began his professional career as a financial analyst for Suburban Bank ( now Bank of America ) in Rockville, Md. and later joined the Real Estate Finance Department as a lender, specializing in commercial construction and short term mortgage financing. While working at the bank, Greg met his wife Kathie, a Lewes native, and in 1990, they moved to Rehoboth where Greg became president of Hocker Manufacturing Co., Inc,, a position he held until the company's sale in 2007. Over the years, Greg and Kathie have been involved in a number of real estate transactions as investors and renovators and found working in real estate sales to be a natural transition for them. Greg has served on Small Business Advisory Council for the Philadelphia Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank, the Board of Directors for the Rehoboth Beach Little League, the Advisory Board of The Rookery Golf Course and various fund raising committees for local school and athletic projects. Beyond real estate, one of Greg's passions is music and he can be seen around the area drumming and singing in the band "33 1/3." If you are considering selling an existing property or if you are looking for that special place to buy, please give Greg and Kathie a call. Put the Wood Team to work for you.
