About Kelly
Buying or selling a home is one of the most significant transactions that a person or couple will undertake.
I consider it nothing less than a privilege to be invited into this process. I strive to take as much of the stress and confusion out of buying and selling as I possibly can. I manage the details and educate my clients. By keeping them informed, they can focus on the joy that can accompany buying or selling.
Real Estate is my profession. The communities in which I sell are my communities. I strive for excellence in everything I do. To that end I have built a reputation as someone who can be relied upon to be professional.
In addition to providing guidance and expertise in the up-front activities of listing and showing, I am exceptionally skilled at managing the back-end of transactions — from offer through closing — to ensure as smooth a process as possible. This is extremely important, since real estate transactions have become increasingly complicated in the last several years.
I entered real estate over 10 years ago, after a fifteen-year career in corporate America. My last corporate position was Human Resources Director for a Fortune 100 company, where I honed my skills at the global level. HR was the perfect training ground for work as a real estate professional, since both fields involve guiding people through complex decisions with empathy and professionalism.
I have been named a Five Star Agent for the past 6 years, and am consistently one of her office’s top producers. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and a Master’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison. I am fluent in conversational Spanish.
I live with my partner and youngest daughter in Oak Park and am a property owner in Forest Park. When I’m not working I can usually be found cooking for my family, playing with my handsome dog, or cruising around town on my motorcycle.
