John Schutze was born and raised in Austin, TX and graduated from Texas State University with a degree in finance. Beginning his career as a financial advisor, John has a unique perspective when it comes advising his clients on the best mortgage type for their financial plan. With almost 20yrs experience in the mortgage industry, John has helped over 1500 families purchase or refinance their home.
My purpose:
Empower my clients to make confident mortgage decisions with a clear presentation of the available mortgage options and valuable financial insight. Before becoming a Mortgage Originator in 2002, I was a financial adviser specializing in personal financial planning. I began to focus on helping my clients manage their mortgages, and then fully transitioned to the mortgage profession in 2002.
Communication is the key to a successful and satisfying home-buying experience. My team is proactive and we value consistent and timely communication between all parties throughout the entire loan process. Each interaction, whether it’s with a client, an associate or a friend, is an opportunity to leave a positive impression on a person’s life, and ultimately, the world.
I was born and raised here in Austin and have lived in Central Texas ever since. I graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a degree in finance with an emphasis in personal financial planning. I spend most of my spare time with my four kids. We enjoy camping and always have a little league game to go to!
