As a partner in Team Whiteside, Senior Vice President with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty Lou Alpert has produced consistent, award- winning results over the past 18 years. An active participant in the community, Lou is the founder of the Lakewood Service League and is involved in an assortment of Dallas charities and schools.
Lou came to real estate after a successful career in publishing. She started a children’s publishing company where she managed 60 sales reps throughout the United States and abroad, oversaw art direction, product development, editorial and advertising, and turned Whispering Coyote Press into a million dollar plus business. After ten years, she sold the company as an imprint to a larger publishing house in Boston. Long hours, exceptional commitment to her client’s needs, listening, negotiation and follow up are all skills that Lou now brings to her real estate clients.
