About Kevin
Kevin Buchek was born and raised in Bel-Nor and has made his home there with his family. Kevin is a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas and he received his law degree from St. Louis University. After a stint with the St. Louis City Counselor’s Office, he decided to pursue his love of construction and real estate development. After rising to CEO and President of E.M. Harris Construction Company in just 7 years, he founded both Roanoke Realty and Roanoke Construction Company. His first project was the renovation of the historic Hunt Mansion on Natural Bridge near UMSL, which serves as headquarters for both firms and has already become a meeting place for community organizations from the surrounding communities. Kevin is a recipient of the St. Louis Business Journal 40 Under 40 award, North County Incorporated’s 30 Leaders in their Thirties, served for 12 years as the Mayor of Bel-Nor, and is active with the St. Louis County Municipal League, the Mayors of Small Cities, and the 24:1 Initiative. He is a Realtor and graduate of the FOCUS St. Louis Leadership Program. He is especially dedicated to the communities surrounding UMSL and is active as a coach for his children's sports teams.
