I'm Diane Martin-Taff, a licensed Oregon real estate broker at Keller Williams Realty serving the Portland metro area for almost 10 years and working with both buyers and sellers.  I have a background in interior design, which is helpful to visualize the potential of your new home or with staging your current home for sale.

The Portland metro area is a wonderful place to live with so many things to do within a 2 hour drive including Mt Hood and the coast.   I've lived in Oregon for about 35 years and have lived in many different areas of the metro area.

South of Portland are two well-known suburbs, Lake Oswego and West Linn.  The Willamette River runs by both cities and the Tualatin River makes it way through West Linn as well.   Hilltop homes in both cities offer spectacular views of the Cascades.  Lake Oswego is an affluent suburb of Portland. The lake in Lake Oswego is surrounded by beautiful homes where homeowners can boat or paddle board around and even tie off at a dock to patronize the many restaurants and shops in downtown Lake Oswego.

The historic Willamette District in West Linn offers unique shops and restaurants.  Winding through the east side of town is the Tualatin River where you can float down the river or swim or picnic in the park watching the water activities.   Local activities include movies in the park, the street dance and of course a famers market.  West Linn has been ranked as one of best places to live by CNN/Money Magazine).

Oregon's 6th largest city, Beaverton is another popular suburb and has a light rail system called MAX.  Beaverton is one of the economic centers for Washington County, home to numerous corporations in a variety of industries.
