Jim Basquette is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati and loves it. He has been married to the same wonderful woman since his early 20's and has 3 Children, Cheri, Jill & Michael and 7 grandchildren, Kelsey, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Cade, Tyson, Juliet & Jackson. Family is a huge part of his life.
Jim earned his BSME from the University of Cincinnati and has worked for Procter & Gamble as well as several other large Cincinnati companies and founded PacTech Engineering Inc in 1986, which grew to 40 employees. He retired early and spent several years traveling, earning a black belt in karate, scuba diving and investing for his own account. He invested in real estate, stocks, options, commodities, futures and traded currencies.
As the real estate market started to decline in 2008, always enjoying a challenge, Jim decided to become a Realtor, Using his engineering training, he studied how agents listed and marketed homes and looked at improving each step of the home selling process. It worked and in his first year, Jim became the top selling agent in his office and one of the top 10 in his entire company of about 700 agents. He was named one of the "Top 50 Realtors on the Rise" in the nation in 2008 by Real Estate Magazine, an honor achieved by Realtors with up to 35 years in the business.
Jim specializes in the listing marketing and selling of residential property of all price ranges, but has special education and training in luxury and historic properties. He hired another agent to work with the growing number of buyers his listings attracted and kept adding to the Basquette Real Estate Group.
Jim was a Previews (Luxury) agent with Coldwell Banker and was in the top 2% of all Coldwell Banker agents in the world.
In 2016, the Basquette Real Estate Group joined Keller Williams.
