Carl was referred to us by our mortgage broker in 2010, when we were purchasing our first home in Austin. Carl Shurr began his real estate business in 2005 after relocating to Austin from Chicago. Prior to this he spent 10 years in the investment management business and dabbled in real estate on the side. Since starting in real estate full-time Carl has over $100 million in sales and is consistently ranked in the top 1% of sales for all individual realtors in Austin. Additionally, he has earned the 5-Star Realtor Award given to agents rated the highest in customer satisfaction by their clients in independently audited surveys.

Carl has lived in Downtown Austin, NW Austin, West Austin and currently calls the Travis Heights/South Austin area home. Outside of work Carl’s favorite thing to do is travel. He tries to visit a new city and a new country every year. He also enjoys running the trails around Lady Bird Lake, hiking the greenbelt or keeping cool on Lake Austin and Lake Travis.
