Ryan Atkinson was born and raised in the Richmond area. He attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he earned a Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Business Administration. Upon graduation, Ryan began his career working for Wachovia Securities. While employed at Wachovia, he became a Financial Advisor after earning his Series 7, Series 66 and Life, Health & Annuities Licenses.
In 2008, he began his insurance career and after working as a captive agent for many years, Ryan decided to open up his own agency. Ryan has had a very successful four years since he opened his agency doors. He has built his agency around two core principles; exceptional customer service and great rates. He has grown his staff expontentially and he has a healthy, growing book of business!
Ryan has always enjoyed being outdoors and spending time on the water. In Ryan's free time, he devotes himself to his wife and children, fishing, and wakeboarding.
