In 2003, Tonya left her career in ‘Corporate America’ and became a full-time Realtor. She holds a BBA in Production & Operations Management with an emphasis in both Psychology and Safety. Tonya had the opportunity to work in Management positions for various Fortune 500 companies including GE Medical, Frito-Lay and Rust-Oleum.
Tonya has grown her real estate business from that of a solo agent to one of the top teams in the Metro Milwaukee market. In the midst of the 2020 COVID pandemic, she successfully launched an expansion team in the Madison, WI, market. Tonya has received several Brokerage awards including the Good Neighbor Award (2017), the Legend Award (2018) and in 2021 her team earned the elite Pinnacle Award. The Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) recognized Tonya as the Wisconsin CRS of the Year (2015) and she received the prestigious RRC President's Award (2021).
Tonya is committed to both professional and personal development. She believes in the continual re-mastering of skills to stay relevant in this ever-changing real estate industry. She has been a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designee since 2005 and holds numerous other designations, including Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI), Internet Professional (e-Pro), and Military Relocation Professional (MRP). Tonya is a 2021 graduate of the Darren Hardy 12-month leadership training program, the Hero’s Journey.
Since 2014, Tonya has actively volunteered many hours of her time within the real estate industry. She has served on many committees and in various leadership roles at the local, state and national level.
Tonya has been a long-time supporter of her local community, both financially and by volunteering her time. She has enjoyed working with Habitat for Humanity, Hebron Housing Services, Good Friend, Inc, the city of Waukesha Chamber of Commerce, and the Waukesha West High School band program, to name a few.
