I was first exposed to real estate as a kid. My parents built several homes for themselves and dabbled in real estate. One such property was a waterfront cottage on Lake Washington they purchased for $39,000 and sold a few years later for $69,500. I was amazed at the amount of money they made over such a short span of time. From them I learned about the value of views, the importance of beautiful landscaping and the value a great floorplan has on resale value. All of this exposure made a huge impression on me. After leaving a long career in software, I contemplated what my next career choice would be, and real estate seemed an easy and logical transition.

Why I love what I do

Above all, I am a “people-person.” I look forward to, and thoroughly enjoy my professional and personal relationships with my clients, vendors, community builders and fellow brokers.

I derive so much satisfaction in helping clients achieve their real estate goals, whether buying or selling.

With buyers, there is nothing more satisfying than securing the right home for my clients.  Buying a home is a huge life event for people and I find it rewarding to help my clients through this process to their next life chapter.

With sellers, I spend a lot of time helping get their home ready to list.  Project management is an integral part of this role and a skill where I excel.  My goal is to be proud of the completed home preparation and to get my clients the results they hope for.

Whether they are relocating to Seattle, starting a family, downsizing, investing or purchasing their first home; life happenings create opportunities and challenges and I enjoy helping people through those.
