As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 1985, Steve focuses on wealth management and individual retirement planning. During his financial services career, he has built a reputation for integrity, honesty, and has become a respected leader among his peers. Steve continually works to promote high moral and ethical standards in business. He has been a member of the Financial Planning Association since 1987. Steve is a member of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce. Steve also serves as Post Adjutant for VFW Post 3944, where he has been a member since 2009.

Steve is listed in the Registry of CFP® Licensed Practitioners, the Practitioner Division of the International Association for Financial Planning and as a subject of biographical record in Who's Who in Finance and Industry. Steve has been awarded the DALBAR Financial Professional Seal, a national award that recognizes financial professionals who have achieved overall excellence in the areas of client trust, financial results, quality of advice, and satisfaction. The DALBAR Program measures clients' actual experiences with their financial professional. Professionals who earn the DALBAR Seal have exceeded national benchmarks in areas of trust, satisfaction, quality of advice and financial results. To qualify for the Seal, recipients also must meet standards of experience and maintain a clear regulatory record, as agreed to by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Steve has been honored by Five Star Professional in St. Louis Magazine as a Five Star Wealth Manager for each year from 2013 to 2023.

Education

Steve's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Missouri, which he attended on a scholastic scholarship. After college, Steve served in the United States Army as an Army Captain and helicopter pilot, stateside and abroad. Steve's military experience sharpened his work ethic, discipline and determination. His leadership and ability to make astute decisions under pressure served him well during his six years in the Army and continue to serve his clients well.

Personal

Steve is very committed to his clients and to his community. Much of his time is spent reading and researching the markets and economic news. Steve also regularly gives his time and opens his office conference room doors to host events within his community and hometown of Florissant, MO. Outside of the office, Steve enjoys running, traveling and outdoor activities. He is a certified scuba diver and utilizes this certification through travel when possible. Steve is married and a proud father of two children.

Credentialed as a registered investment adviser (RIA) or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a RIA or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP's consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP's consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client's experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients.
