I discovered Marianne because she was the listing agent for a short-sale listing I was interested in buying and I had just fired my real estate agent for being a lazy self-serving pill who couldn't bother getting out of bed to show homes, or write-up offers within 48hrs. I digress.

This was only my second home purchase (my first purchase was in different market and during a completely different time period... aka it was a breeze with no red tape or hoops to jump!); therefore, I was not too knowledgeable about the home buying process. Marianne was patient, kind and walked me through each step of the process so I was always well-informed.

She was tough and impatient when appropriate... Marianne was a really effective negotiator with the banks who were in charge of the short-sale. She has a pretty smile, but make no mistake about it, she will fight for her clients like a dog with a bone! Thank you Marianne!!!

To complicate matters, my independent loan broker was really disorganized and we were working on a tight timeline.

In short, had it not been for Marianne micromanaging my loan broker, the two banks on the short-sale and sometimes my husband and I (chuckle), I strongly feel we wouldn't have our home.

Marianne is not your average real estate agent- and for that I'm thankful. It' a buyer's market, but it's still a jungle... you still need someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and go to bat for you and Marianne's just that kind of agent!
