About Kurt
My family moved to Englewood from Omaha, Nebraska in 1968. I attended school in the Cherry Creek school district and graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1975. I have three brothers and sisters who all live in the Denver area and one sister Kim who passed away in 2014.
I attended Mesa College in Grand Junction where I played football. From there, I transferred to CSU. Sadly, my football career ended there due to an injury. I earned my Business degree from Metropolitan State College with an emphasis in Real Estate. During my time at Metro, I began coaching football. I taught for one year and coached football for four years at Mullen High School.
Coaching is a passion of mine which I continue to do this to this day. The rewards are great as I help guide young men into adulthood. My football coaching career has taken me from Mullen High School in Denver to Rangeview High School in Aurora to Heritage High School in Littleton to Highlands Ranch High School to Mullen High School in Denver, was Head Coach at Littleton High School and Mountain Vista.
Before starting my career in Real Estate, I worked at St. Thomas Moore in Centennial, CO. There, I helped finish a major construction project and also managed the Padre Restaurant. It was a great learning experience but my real interest was in Real Estate.
In 1985 I began my Real Estate career with Moore & Co. where all my training took place. RE/MAX 3000 was my next step where I stayed for seven years. In 1994, I became part owner and manager of Key Real Estate Group, which grew from three agents to forty-five agents. Today, I am the Owner and Managing Broker of The Littleton Real Estate Company, of which I am very proud.
Whether I'm wearing my "real estate hat" or my "coaching hat", all things remain the same. I believe in honesty, integrity and doing my absolute best. This is proven as many of my clientele have returned for repeat business.
