Christine Jensen, a Colorado native, hails from Arvada, CO, the community in which she has served much of her life. She is committed to taking great care of those who wish to purchase or refinance a home. Christine has been in the mortgage industry since 1994 and loves turning the dream of homeownership into reality.
After spending her first two years in the industry working as a Customer Service Supervisor at Mellon Mortgage Company, Christine moved to Origination, where she had the privilege of working one-on-one with individuals and families, helping them select the best financing options. She regularly teaches Home Buyer Education courses around the region and has served on the CHFA Lender Advisory Group. Christine is also a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional, one of only 153 individuals nationwide to have the CRMP designation. Community involvement is a cornerstone for Christine. She contributes in many ways, such as through political involvement and the Arvada Chamber of Commerce where she was a past Chairman of the Board and now leads the Government Affairs Committee.
Christine opened their first mortgage banking branch in Arvada in 2001. In 2013, she was able to relocate the branch to its current location in Olde Town Arvada. Christine has been involved in the mortgage industry most of her adult life and is an active participant in the Arvada community, both as a business person and as a resident. She lives in Arvada with her husband, Dana. They have four children and four grandchildren.
Christine has spent more than 35 years in banking and finance, specializing in mortgage lending for the past 25 years. She is a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional, a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist and a Producing Branch Manager for Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation. At her branch, Christine originates both Forward and Reverse Mortgages, which gives her the resources to help her clients throughout their entire lives. She loves working with the 62 plus age group and helping them select the best financing options for themselves as well as for their families.
There are many misconceptions about reverse mortgages out there—Christine is part of the Fairway team that is looking to change the public perception of this financial planning tool. She does this by educating clients and industry professionals alike about the new reverse mortgage guidelines and their improved safety features. Her purpose in utilizing reverse mortgages is to expand options for her clients as they approach their retirement years, and to help them increase their wealth by incorporating all assets at their disposal. Christine is passionate about teaching her clients how to take a familiar asset like home equity and turn it into a high performing income generator.
