About Tony

Tony is the Founder and a Financial Advisor for ACM Wealth Management, a boutique financial planning and investment firm with offices in Charlotte and Asheville, NC.

Tony began his career in financial services in 1998 and spent his first 11 years with two large Wall Street firms advising high net worth clients and training other financial advisors.  He started his own firm in 2009 to escape the bureaucracy and conflicts of interest found at most large investment firms.  He is passionate about creating retirement roadmaps and managing effecient investment portfolios to help his clients have peace of mind while accomplishing their goals.

Tony holds the CIMA® — Certified Investment Management Analyst designation, which is one of the most prestigious designations in the wealth management industry today.  He has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager by Charlotte Magazine in 2024, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012 for best in client satisfaction. He has been interviewed and quoted by local TV and print as well as national publications like The Wall Street Journal, FOX Business, Dow Jones News, Thomson Reuters, Wealth Management Magazine and FUNDfire.

Tony, his wife Lesley, and their three children, Evan, Logan and Emma, reside in the Lake Wylie area of Charlotte, NC. He is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute, Financial Services Institute (FSI), The Rams Club. He is also a former board member of Sally’s YMCA and the East Lincoln Betterment Association.

Credentialed as a registered investment adviser (RIA) or a registered investment adviser representative; 2. Actively licensed as a RIA or as a principal of a registered investment adviser firm for a minimum of 5 years; 3. Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP's consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP's consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client's experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria - considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9.
