An industry veteran, Ted has nearly 16 years of residential real estate experience and 12 years of experience working in the luxury home market. He continues to provide exemplary service and real estate guidance to his clients, with the highest level of professional standards.

Ted loves living and working in the Austin area. One of his favorite pastimes is taking out of town buyers on “the tour”, a car trip that highlights the different neighborhoods, points of interest and places that are uniquely Austin.

Ted has learned that the key to successful transactions is, of course, knowledge of current inventory, understanding location and pricing and more importantly, effective communication, relationships, networking, timing and managing his client’s time and expectations. Transparency is always paramount. An accurate analysis of what price your home should list and ultimately sell for is based on market information. No games, just the facts that will enable you to sell your home quickly and at the highest possible price. Maybe that’s why 90% of Ted’s clients are repeat or referral clients.

Before making the leap to real estate, Ted spent nearly 30 years in the radio broadcast industry as “On-Air” Talent, Program Director and Operations Manager for major market radio stations in Washington, D.C. Detroit, Houston and Austin. As Owner/President of a Houston marketing company and as Vice President/Partner of an Austin based marketing and consulting firm, Ted honed listening, communication and marketing skills that are a natural fit for real estate.

As a full service real estate brokerage , we work with buyers, sellers and investors in real estate transactions spanning all price ranges and property types. The AustinRealEstate.com web site attracts more buyer and seller hiits and searches than Zillow and Trulia. 

Residential Single Family – Our residential single family services connect buyers with sellers every day, and we do it with professionalism and a total dedication to our clients. This property type is the majority of our market transactions, but by far not the only one in which we have expertise.

Condominiums – While condominiums are residential, they’re a very different market focus, and we have experts in evaluating condos and helping buyers and sellers to cope with the special financing and homeowner concerns for this property type.

Multi–family – Investors are great clients for The Carson Group - AustinRealEstate.com. Multi–family properties are a very unique market. The detailed return on investment and valuation calculations investors need to evaluate properties for rental are second nature to us.

Vacant Land – Land is a very special property class. It’s relatively easy to show a gourmet cook a wonderful commercial kitchen in a home and see their eyes light up. It’s more of a challenge to help a buyer or seller to realize the potential in a piece of land. We’re the best at it in the , Austin, West Lake, Rollingwood, Lakeway, Tarrytown and Downtown real estate markets.
