My name is Leah Thorp. I am a real estate professional/Broker and top producing agent in SE Wisconsin. Wisconsin has been my home since I was in grade school, Oconomowoc was my childhood hometown and Sullivan has been my hometown since 2001. Personally, I am not a fan of the winter, but I would have to say that Wisconsin has been a great place to raise my three boys. I love the friendly people, beautiful lakes and land, along with the local activities.
My Moving & Past Experiences
As a child, I lived in 7 homes by the time I was eleven years old with a couple of additional temporary stays in between homes when closings didn’t line up. My adult life has been much different with being in the same home now since 2001. These vastly different experiences along with my past career track help me to relate to my clients on many ends. Prior to starting my real estate career, I was a Merry Maids franchise owner and a landlord. My experience as a Merry Maids franchise owner built my strong customer service skills, business knowledge and high level of care for the homes of my clients. Lastly, being a landlord has helped me to show my clients all sides of investment properties and the pros and cons of each property.
Why I’m Different
In my real estate business I am well known for great customer service, consistent communication, strong attention to detail and ensuring a positive experience for all parties in a transaction. I believe that it is not only my duty to represent my client’s best interest, but to educate them so that they are able to make the best decisions for their situation. Receiving repeat referrals from clients and other agents is important to me as it tells me louder than anything else that I am serving my clients well. I will work hard to earn your confidence to refer me onto your friends and family. Lastly, when the transaction is complete, I do not want to lose touch. I greatly enjoy my time getting to know my clients and cherish any chance I have to keep up with them and their lives.
I Believe in Giving Back
I am a firm believer in giving back and am particularly passionate about a couple of organizations that help children in need. If you are familiar with Katie Majors Davis and her book “Kisses from Katie”, you too are aware of what need there is in Uganda. Additionally, World Vision has made a big impact on my boys and me through different activities we have participated in with our churches youth group. I would love to learn about what you are passionate about!
In My Free Time
A large portion of my free time revolves around my busy kids who are involved in cross country, track and field, swimming, band, choir, along with other clubs and youth group activities at church. When they don’t have my schedule filled, I enjoy reading, spending time at the lake, paddle boarding, exercising, playing cards and time with family and friends.
