• Wendy was our realtor for the sale of our Teaneck NJ home. It was a particularly trying time for us, since we had not done any real estate transactions for 43 years and had no idea how to proceed. She carefully walked us through the process, gently showing us how to get the house ready for sale. She was willing to spend what to us was an inordinate amount of time helping, suggesting, and, yes, holding our hands. It was the little suggestions that made the difference: flowers here, a chipped piece of paint there, and limiting all the family photos. After the house was in tip-top shape, she had wonderful photos taken for the online ads. She got the house into such great shape that the first couple to see it at the house opening actually bought it. More importantly, she stayed with us throughout the long process until the closing, always offering us words of advice and encouragement when we got nervous.

  Not only would we recommend Wendy, we already have. If we ever need a realtor again, we would immediately pick up the phone and call her. In our minds, she is the best realtor we could have dealt with.

• Wendy Dessanti found the right buyer for my parents home. Her expertise in orchestrating the sale from beginning to end was flawless. Since we lived an 1 -1/2 hr away from the house, we counted on Wendy to meet various inspectors and even a piano tuner. There was no stone left unturned. She made sure everything was completed in a timely manner to ready the house for a successful sale.

• Wendy sold our property in 2016 and our experience with her was so fantastic, that we did not hesitate to call her when we were ready to purchase 2 years later. She worked hard to help us find our perfect home. She must have shown us more than a dozen homes. With each home that we considered, she provided us with insight that only a seasoned realtor would have; what each location could provide or benefit us and what it might lack. Then, after an exhaustive search, she found it! She found exactly what we were looking for. The best part, she helped us close in about 4 weeks. Although it seemed impossible at first, she certainly made sure that we could get into our new home as soon as possible!

• Wendy sold our house quickly and efficiently. She excels at staging, marketing, and keeping on top of the schedule / upcoming events. However, in the process she sowed dissent, and failed to convey essential information between us (the seller) and the buyer. Wendy touted her office team as a big plus, but then when the buyer had a realtor in the same office, they neglected to communicate or intentionally used their relationship to scare both parties. In one case, the buyer was told that they could move in by the coming weekend while we were told at the same time to delay our move by a month because of an issue with the mortgage commitment. It is only because I had connected with the buyer, something Wendy repeatedly warned us against, that this discrepancy was discovered. We were repeatedly made to feel that the sale was about to fall through, though after we spoke to the buyer we realized there had been no problems. The process was also bumpier than expected because Wendy had us repeat information/requests to her 2-4 times; making it feel like we were simply another sale to her, and a not so important one at that.

  All this said, if all you care about is selling your house as quickly as possible Wendy is still a good choice.

• Wendy is the consummate professional. She is very knowledgeable about the Teaneck housing market and was able to help us price our house fairly and competitively. As a result, our house sold quickly and at a price we were more than satisfied with. She helped us prepare our house for sale by recommending ways to make it look its best to potential buyers. All questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. All phases of the process were explained clearly. She was a pleasure to work with and always approachable. Selling a home can be stressful, but Wendy made it a smooth and as worry-free experience as possible.
