Patricia Tan was born and raised in England, where an early interest in mathematics drove her to a career in IT, as a computer programmer, and then systems analyst. She loved working with people and solving problems, and spent 20 successful years in IT sales, solving business problems around the world. She lived and worked in several countries in Europe and South East Asia, where working across cultures instilled excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

Pat spent five years as a Director of an American real estate franchise in London and together with her husband undertook property investment projects.

Having achieved career success, it was time for a change that would allow more time with her two young sons. The desire to live in a warm climate drew the family to Florida. In 1997 they moved to Sarasota for its casual coastal living, small town feel with big city amenities, and one of the best school systems in the State.

A licensed REALTOR® since 2004, Pat has built a successful real estate business with a focus on international clients. She is also a licensed real estate instructor in 5 states, and has served on many committees for her local, State and National Association of REALTORS®. She continues to give back to the community: she serves on the board of a local charter school and is a former board member of Center for Architecture Sarasota.

Over the years Pat has earned many real estate awards, but the one of which she is most proud is having earned, for 13 consecutive years, the Five Star Real Estate Agent Award which illustrates her high professional standards and commitment to outstanding customer service.

Pat lives with her husband in Sarasota where she enjoys boating, theater, live music, wine and fine food.

Carla Rayman Kidd

Born and raised in the Pittsburgh area, Carla graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and minor in Linguistics with a focus on American Sign Language. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Put-in Bay, Ohio where she opened a bed and breakfast, boat storage facility, and gift shop.

Upon selling the businesses, Carla moved to Florida where she immediately earned her real estate salesperson and broker licenses. She spent the first 8 years of her career in new construction home sales, assisting the builder with take-offs, warranty, customer service, and design selection.

Carla’s passion for life and adventure got her involved in global real estate in 2005 which led her to travel extensively to Europe and Central America. She was the 2016-2020 National Association of REALTORS® Global Coordinator to North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. Prior to holding this position, she was the President’s Liaison to Panama.

Carla is a licensed instructor for the National Association of REALTORS® and Florida REALTORS®. She has instructor licenses in Florida, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas. She is an active member of her local, state, and national associations and was named REALTOR® of the Year and achieved the President’s Award twice from the Sarasota Association of REALTORS®.

Describing herself as a globalist, explorist, and discoverist Carla loves to travel, meet interesting people, try new cuisines, and experiment with adventure. She loves socializing with her friends, cooking and entertaining, going to art exhibits and wine tastings, and spending time with her husband and Havanese.
