PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Stephanie Funk
www.FunkRealtor.com
Stephanie is no stranger to the Real Estate Industry. She started in 2006 where she opened a successful title company in Plano and Carrollton. She gained the knowledge to not only close transactions, but to create strong relationships with lenders, buying and selling agents. Her Title Company was acquired by an Underwriter and they promoted her to run their Foreclosure Division in California and Texas. She admired the industry so much that she decided to become a Real Estate agent. Stephanie prides herself on creating a safe environment for feedback and suggestions. She is sympathetic to the fact that the sale her client’s home may very well be the biggest financial transaction they have ever taken part in. Her tough negotiating skills allow sellers to get the absolute most for your property under any circumstance. She is extremely passionate about marketing properties. She personally builds websites to drive traffic to her client’s homes and owns over 100 domain names. Before her real estate career, she was a Garland Police Officer. She hosted a local television show, “Crime Watch Live” and “Police Beat”. During her law enforcement career, she specialized in targeting neighborhood crimes as a licensed crime prevention expert. Her top priority is to take care of her client's needs by building relationships through trust and with integrity, one house at a time.
Stephanie grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas and later attended Dallas Baptist University. She recently returned to DBU to complete her Master Degree in Business Administration. She has been married to her husband, Shane, for 20 years and they have two daughters, Trinity and Kaylee. After 11 homes over 23 years, the Funks finally settled down in Prosper, where they have lived for 13 years.
Stephanie has served on numerous Non-Profit Boards, including 8 years with Hope’s Door New Beginning Center in Plano, 5 years with the Prosper Ladies Association, National Charity League, Prosper Area Soccer Organization, and World Olympic Gymnastics Association’s Parent Club.
Stephanie attributes a large part of her success to her very supportive husband and partner, Shane Funk. Shane recognized the amount of business Stephanie had cultivated and quickly jumped in and helped build The Funk Team. Today, they manage 10 agents and two administration staff members.
