David has been working in real estate lending since 2001, where he learned among a small group of young mortgage brokers in Lakewood, CO. He quickly rose to a management role, and helped expand a group of 8 to an office of 55 employees. A small group from this brokerage made a break together, and formed a new branch of Cherry Creek Mortgage in Englewood, CO. They kept the band together, joining America's Mortgage with a group of industry veterans where David and his colleagues were able to tap in to their infrastructure and focus on the best part of the job, working with people.
David has always believed in utilizing your mortgage and real estate to stabilize and create financial security. He has offered free credit analysis and training to anyone who wants it. He loves to share his knowledge and experience with anyone who would like to have it.
David has now been with Loan Simple, based out of Englewood, CO for 6 years as a producing branch manager. Loan Simple has an excellent production team and infrastructure so closing dates are easily met with regular communication to keep clients ahead of deadlines.
David studied liberal arts in college, with a major in music and a minor in theater, studying and performing in 12 plays, 4 instrumental groups, and three vocal groups. His interest in performing arts never went away. He started a small company called Open Stage Denver as a series of open mic nights around the metro area, with the expectation of performing in public more often. The success of the open mic series led to professional sound jobs, then more, until it became a true music production company. Some highlights including working as a stage manager at Red Rocks Amphitheater, producing a show at the Buell theater in Denver, and producing a large Indie Festival in Monument, CO. Open Stage Denver is still a thriving production company, although it is now owned by one of David's close music friends who performed with him first in 1988. David continues to take consultation, staging and installation work as a freelancer.
