Susan spent her early years on the Klamath and Yakima Indian Reservations, where her father served as the Forest Manager for the Bureau of Indian Affairs. She moved to West Seattle in the 1970's and has remained here ever since. She loves the community's small-town atmosphere, convenience, and many beautiful parks. Susan embraces the cultural diversity Seattle has to offer. She earned her degree in education with several certifications including Special Ed., and taught middle and elementary school before becoming a Realtor in 1988.
The single mother of four adult children and three grandchildren, Susan loves her role as Mom and Grandma. Whether it's helping backstage at ballet recitals or cheering on the sidelines at soccer games. She's been active with a range of community service organizations and projects including Camp Fire, Community Service Day, and Project Cool which provides school supplies and clothing for homeless students. When she gets the chance, she escapes to the mountains.
Much of Susan's business comes from referrals from satisfied buyers and sellers. Clients are impressed by her commitment to understanding and ultimately delivering precisely what they want and need. They feel well-informed and represented throughout the process. With more than 29 years in the real estate business, Susan has developed a particular interest in marketing, financial and legal aspects of real estate transactions and has become a respected expert in contract details.
Susan is one of the top producers in Seattle. She appreciates working with a diverse range of clients and properties. While she specializes in waterfront and view properties in the West Seattle market, she also sells numerous properties in all of Seattle's neighborhoods, including those in Downtown, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, Magnolia, Ballard, and the Eastside including North Bend. One of her favorite aspects of her job is meeting new people and helping them achieve their goals. She also enjoys negotiation.
