Julie Wilson of Windermere Real Estate on Mercer Island, WA once again exceeded all expectations (which were already incredibly high). After being a one-of-a-kind buyer’s agent (see LINK for review), we asked Julie to help us sell our home. From the first walk through, to the final key exchange, her tact, insight, care, work ethic, and skills went above and beyond!
Before the listing, Julie assessed our home with a keen eye and knowledge of what was needed. She provided suggestions and ideas, brought in experts to repair and stage, and left no detail left unthought of. Julie anticipated the needs of potential buyers’, and she of course went out of her way to obtain estimates for work they may have chosen to do (build a fence for young children which we did not have). Her thoughtfulness, planning, communication, and execution of the entire process made it seem effortless and stress-free. Further, she kept in mind which repairs would return net value to us as sellers and recommended which repairs to leave to the new owners.
During the listing process, Julie created the most beautiful marketing materials, managed all communications and vendors, and accurately priced our home to sell in record time! She stayed calm and collected when others would have panicked, allowing us to maximize our position. Julie’s warmth and kindness were even felt by the buyer’s agent as she provided valuable information about the community and things for buyers to consider.
What made this an even more remarkable process, is that Julie had 3 other clients buying/selling in the same 2-week span. Yet no call went unanswered, no email/text immediately attended to, and even on the closing day, she made time to “do one last check” and found an entire drawer of the house we forgot to pack! In typical “Julie fashion”, all contents were packed up and delivered to our door within hours! In short, there simply is not a better agent and person to ensure the sale of your home is an experience that is smooth, efficient, and optimally profitable than Julie Wilson! My husband and I hired Julie to sell our Mercer Island home. Julie had recently sold 2 homes in our immediate neighborhood so was very knowledgeable about our area as well as Mercer Island generally. As soon as we met Julie we need she'd be perfect! She's friendly, energetic, sincere and very knowledgeable about real estate and marketing. She produced beautiful materials to help list our home and knew exactly how and where to concentrate our efforts. She is super organized and produced a schedule which she kept to constantly. She has a many excellent vendor contacts so we didn't have to worry about a thing when we needed staging, painters etc. We moved out of our home to list and never needed to return to maintain our home. Julie made sure our garden, housekeeping, everything! was taken care of. Julie is an excellent communicator and kept us updated continuously through the entire process. We were able to buy our first home in Mercer Island thanks to Julie Wilson! It is a very competitive market for buyers and Julie exceeded our expectations every step of the way. She presented our offer in-person to the sellers (we didn't ask her to do this nor did it even cross our mind) and we think that it made all the difference since we were not the highest offer....we sincerely believe that our offer would not have been accepted if it wasn't for Julie.

Julie kept in touch while the house was in escrow and showed up to the closing as well. She didn't disappear after the closing either; she kept in touch on a daily basis and made sure everything was going smooth while we were settling in.

Over the years, by my count, I’ve worked together with six other brokers to either buy or sell property in the Seattle area. My most recent experience - an Estate sale for my father - was by far the most personal, and, a transaction that was at once both as emotionally trying and potentially fraught with complications as any person can imagine. With due respect to my previous brokers, I can say without a doubt that none would have gone as far as Julie did to ensure a positive result. In addition to being compassionate and attentive, she routinely took the initiative on issues that would have never occurred to me, and turned the entire, unhappy task of selling my father’s home, into an endurable experience and a satisfactory outcome.
