A bit about me:
I grew up in Westchester County, New York where I attended Syracuse University and majored in Fine Arts and Art Education. I arrived in Austin in 1979 and have never left. Having seen firsthand over the decades how much the Central Texas area has flourished and grown, has allowed me to share the inner workings of the different neighborhoods and the unique culture they all offer. Austin is a city I know and love.
My real estate career began in 2005 and that was when I found my true passion. I trained to be an educator, I just needed to find my niche. I take great pride in being prepared with the most up-to-date information in the real estate market. Armed with this expertise, strong community ties, entrepreneurial know-how and a commitment to stay on top of trends, I can assist with any real estate needs and personally be your guide to result an optimal return on the investment. My emphasis to establish trust and confidence has often led to lifelong relationships and friendships even after the real estate transaction has ended as well as numerous referrals and repeat customers over the years. For this I am most thankful!
Prior to real estate, my husband and I owned and operated a handful of restaurants with locations in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. As small business owner, I honed valuable patience, communication and listening skills. It was hard work and not always “glamorous,” but it allowed me to meet up with people of all backgrounds, be home with my children after school (they are all grown now) and to be involved in volunteer work at my local schools, church, and community, where I still volunteer today. I truly enjoy being part of the community.
You may find me assisting in the Habitat for Humanity build program, neighborhood fundraisers, community events or local group exercise classes.
Sellers:
I am armed with a persistent, tech-savvy approach when developing a strategy for my sellers. Some of which include staging services, professional photography and a unique website for each property.
Proficient in marketing a home (holding an e-PRO certification), I aim to achieve maximum exposure by promoting it through direct mail in the respective neighborhood, brochures and advertising in Austin Monthly and the At Home in Central Texas television series. Add to that my strong network of co-agents and community connections, and I promise to truly make the home a centerpiece to be discussed.
Buyers:
I assist first-time home buyers, second or vacation home buyers, investors, military personnel and relocation clients. Additionally, I am experienced in the minutiae of new construction and over the years have helped numerous clients with new construction homes.
To give buyers a competitive edge, as a certified as a Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) I apply these arbitrating tactics with pricing and property analysis to effectively advocate for my clients. Buyers will also find the latest homes on the market on my website and have full-service access to mortgage, title and insurance providers.
Believing knowledge is power, I have earned many designations, some of which include the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), to best serve a variety of my client's needs.
As a testament to performance and client satisfaction I have earned many awards, including the most recent Coldwell Banker International President's Circle Award in 2021, which honors the top 7% of real estate agents in the Coldwell Banker network Worldwide and held the Five Star Professional award, earned by positive clients reviews since 2017. Additionally, I have earned the #2 producer for closed units in the Coldwell Banker Realty Greater Austin region in May 2021 and hold a consistent place in the Million Dollar Month Club for production.
