Born and raised in Boulder, I have a zest for traveling the world, studying cultures, and understanding how people live. Twenty years ago, I entered the mortgage industry with the desire to help home buyers easily navigate the complex lending system. I had been a homeowner for a few years and found the experience overwhelming and so incredibly important that I decided to make mortgages my profession. I believe that everyone should own a home, so I work to find custom solutions to meet that goal. Buying a house is a huge financial decision (maybe the biggest in one’s life), and I make sure the financial side is easy to understand.
I have worked for great mortgage companies over the years but transitioned to Planet Home Lending Boulder because of how we treat our clients. The management team has finetuned the lending process, where communication through all stages is key (and I like to over-communicate). Receiving the Five Star Professional designation for ten years and being awarded Affiliate of the Year by Boulder Area Realtors Association qualified me to serve a three-year term on the Homeownership Committee for the City of Boulder’s Division of Housing, where I am helping to guide affordable home purchasing policies.
