About Us
Scott’s dad told us to steal a snowplow and drive it South until someone says, “What’s that?” Park it there and never leave. Although we did not take all that advice, we did take part of it.
We were married in 1996 on Lido Beach. We knew right then we would eventually live here. And we did, we found our place in the sand.
We are both originally from the Midwest. We have 2 beautiful daughters. Our oldest lives here with our two beautiful grandchildren. Our youngest lives with us and attends The Haven - an adult education / training organization for people with disabilities. Although she has special needs, we are the ones who are truly blessed.
Our Background
Jan started a promotional marketing, embroidery, and screen printing business in 1997. Through aggressive marketing and a strong commitment to customer service, her business grew every year since its inception – even through the depressed economy.
Scott owned a flight school, aviation service and aircraft sales business (which included transactions of corporate jets and turboprops) for a number of years prior to going into real estate. Through a nation-wide internet marketing campaign and a very systematic follow up system, the business became one of the largest flight schools in the Midwest.
