Josh Velazquez from Fairway Independent Mortgage is committed to taking great care of people who are looking to buy or refinance a home. Josh has been in the mortgage industry since 1998. He enjoys working as a mortgage lender because being a part of making the American dream happen for people is a great honor and so much fun! Josh chose to join Fairway due to their unrelenting commitment to client satisfaction.
After graduating from UCF and before coming to Fairway, Josh spent time working in several different parts of the financial services industry, including time as a forensic underwriter, financial planner, and independent agent providing life insurance & annuities; but the majority of his professional experience is in residential mortgage lending. Josh was also a licensed real estate agent from 1998-2004, when he helped buyers find homes in addition to handling their mortgage. Since 2004, Josh has concentrated only on mortgage lending.
When Josh isn't working, he enjoys the beach, pool, jet skiing, running, and going to theme parks; but most of all, he loves spending time with his wife Jess and daughters Juliana, Jordyn, and Jenna!
