Barbara began her career in 1985 with Beazley Company Realtors, which over the years became Prudential CT Realty and is now Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New England Properties. She has been a consistant Multi-Million Dollar Club Producerand Founders Club Member(top 50 in Co. of 500).She is a graduate of Floyd Wickhan(1991), a graduate of his Star Program, a Master's Salesperson and is a member of his Masters Society. Barbara received her CRS designation in 1995 and earned her ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation in 2000. Additionally, she has earned her CNE(Certified Negotiation Expert) certification designation. Also the Quality Service Certification and has Platinum Status, the highest satisation levelas bestowed by her Clients. Barbaraalso completed the CT Trust for Historic Preservation's "Selling Historic Houses"seminar to handle listings and sales ofhistoric properties. Barbara was awarded the 5 Star Real Estate Agent Award for 2011, 2012,2013, 2014, 2015, 2015, 2017 and 2018 a total of 8 years for her outstanding customer service.

Barbara is active in community service. A former member of the Wallingford Board of Education for eight years, She is currently a Commissioner on the Historic Properties Commission, A Vice President of the Wallingford Historical Society, a Director of the Center Street Cemetary Association and In Memorium Cemetery Association, and a member of the North Haven Historical Society.

In addition to being active in community events, She continues to hone her career through organizations such as The National Association of Realtors, Connecticut Association of Realtors, New Haven Middlesex Board of Realtors, SMART MLS,  National Residential Sales Council, Residential Sales Council- Connecticut Chapter and REBAC-Real Estate Buyers's Agent Council, Inc and the CT Trust for Historic Preservation.
