Gary founded Buyer's Edge Realty in 1997 and has provided hundreds of home buyers with the highest levels of buyer agency representation, protection and due diligence in their home purchases. An Exclusive Buyer's Broker is a company which specializes in representing and protecting the interests of home buyers. Traditional real estate companies list homes for sale and by law represent the interests of home sellers. Our policy of never representing home sellers by not listing homes for sale eliminates the limitations and drawbacks of Dual Agency. Not listing homes for sale is the only way to provide undivided company loyalty, due diligence services, and protection to home buyers on any property of interest while eliminating Dual Agency. As a result our clients realize the most satisfying home buying experience possible while often saving time and money.
Gary entered the real estate business in 1973 as a licensed real estate salesperson, and in 1977 started his career as a professional real estate appraiser. Gary is a New York State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and Licensed Real Estate Broker. Herbst received his Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate from Quinnipiac College.
