Amy Z began her real estate journey in 2000 while teaching Home Buying classes as a Financial Counselor and Educator for the Air Force and the Army. During this time, she received her Accredited Housing Counselor designation. In recognition for her commitment to the financial well-being of military families she was awarded both the Air Force Honorary First Sergeants Award and the Army Medal for Civilian Service. She credits the Amy Z Team’s focus on communication, client education and consumer protection as the keys to our successful referral-based real estate team.
A life-long learner, Amy continuously expands her knowledge of her profession and the Denver metro-area real estate market through involvement with South Metro Denver Realtors Association and the Denver Women’s Council of Realtors as well as national organizations. Amy holds numerous professional designations including Certified Residential Specialist, a credential held by only 3% of Realtors nationwide. Amy is also an Accredited Buyers' Representative, Certified Military Residential Specialist, Certified Negotiation Expert, Graduate of the Realtor Institute, and Military Relocation Professional. As a Veteran’s spouse and a 23-year member of the military community, Amy has an in-depth understanding of the stress and challenges of frequent relocation and her passion is to take excellent care of clients as they buy and sell their homes. Her professional awards include HomeSmart Diamond Club Top 5 (2018), South Metro Denver Realtors Association Diamond Circle Award (Individual and Team), HomeSmart Cherry Creek Elite status, Cherry Creek Properties Top Producers, and Rookie of the Year, Cherry Creek Properties.
When not working with clients, Amy loves volunteering with the Buckley Spouses’ Group, spending time with her two adult kids and three rescue mutts. She also enjoys exploring quirky Colorado mountain towns as well as discovering new snorkeling locales with her husband of over twenty years.
