Professional Approach

The clients that I have had the privilege to serve are primarily active and retired members of the U.S. national security and intelligence community.  Given their career backgrounds and familiarity with global economic and security matters, these individuals frequently maintain well-informed and nuanced views on geopolitical matters.  This core clientele is drawn to my practice, especially given my own over 40-year career path in Washington, including stints as Counsel to the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Legislative Counsel to a Cabinet Secretary and an extended time period handling government relations for two Fortune 500 companies, including aerospace, intelligence and defense contractor TRW, Inc. My investment clients generally see both the threats and opportunities stemming from the interdependence of U.S. economic prospects and those of our global trading and investment partners.

My approach is one of partnership rather than mere consultancy.  I form lasting relationships with my clients in order to better address their needs in a holistic and proactive manner.  Not only do I make certain to meet my clients regularly, I share my knowledge and expertise through email and social media channels such as LinkedIn.  Being able to connect with my sophisticated and knowledgeable clients in an ever-changing landscape has proved to be a helpful foundation to my growing practice.
